For the 2nd year in a row, Professor Rafael stood on the podium at the World Pro BJJ Championships held in Abu Dhabi. Representing his country, Professor Rafael was one of only two Americans who reached the Black Belt podium in an event dominated by Brazilians.  Professor Rafael lost his semifinal match by one advantage in what was once again a very close and controversial loss.  This bronze marks the 11th Black Belt World medal that Professor Rafael has earned in his eight year career as a Black Belt!  Congrats Professor!
