This past weekend at Lovato's School of BJJ & MMA was a very special one! There were many big promotions to some very deserving students in the Children & Adult programs! In the Warrior's children program, Mark Boyd, Trevor Kline, Ethan McCowen, and Draven Mullings, did awesome in their test and received their next belt.
Adult Testing Group
On Saturday afternoon, many adults tested for their next rank. Their were many yellow, orange, & green belts awarded and there were three very special students promoted to Blue Belt. Dominique Noel, Madison Smith, and Allen Mortimer were very impressive during their test and were promoted to the rank of Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! All three of these students have shown a ton of potential and have worked very hard to earn their Blue Belts! All three students were White Belt Houston Open Champions and Dominique Noel also won the Dallas Open! We look forward to watching them continue to progress over the years!

Advanced Promotion Group
On Monday night, the special promotions continued. Professor Rafael's Advanced class turned into a gauntlet training session where everyone in the class rotated in on three students who were eligible for Purple Belt. After over 30 minutes of straight training, Nick Foust, Dallas Niles, and Jason Lee became the newest Lovato Jiu-Jitsu Purple Belts! On top of that, there were many other advanced students who received stripes on their belts! Nick Foust was a Blue Belt National Champion & Blue Belt World medalist, Coach Dallas was a Blue Belt Pan American Champion, and Jason Lee was a routine medalist as a Blue Belt. We are very proud of their hard work and know they are ready to take on the new challenge!
