OKC Based BJJ Black Belt Wins Invite to 2017 ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship

Rafael Lovato Jr. - Tuesday, November 22, 2016

Professor Justin Rader has been putting in work, fresh off his Legacy FC 62 Pro MMA victory just a couple weeks ago has just continued with such great momentum leading into this past weekend where he was able to secure the Gold medal in the -66kg category at the ADCC East Coast trials in Bayville, NJ. Not only was the medal the fruition of all his hard work but Professor Rader also earned the invite to compete & represent Team Lovato once again at the 2017 ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship slated for Helsinki, Finland. He had four incredible matches at the tournament, showing his experience in each one leading to a very dominating & aggressive performance in the finals against a very game opponent. We at Lovato's School of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Mixed Martial Arts are very proud of Professor Rader, not just in his success the past two weeks but overcoming the road he's been battling that prepared him for these challenges & we look forward to his last showing of the year as the Main Event for the Fight To Win Pro in Tulsa, OK as well as what the 2017 year has in-store for him!

Congratulations Professor Justin Rader on the very well deserved victory at the 2017 ADCC East Coast Trials, we couldn't see a better representative for Team Lovato next year in the -66kg division!

Check out this slick submission aka'd The "Decapi-Rader" that Professor Rader used to secure the victory in his 1st round match:

Be sure to check out his entire "Road to Redemption" matches from this past weekend thanks to our friends at Flograppling !

On the recommendation of a friend, I started training at Lovato’s School of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu about 18 months ago. I had no experience in wrestling or grappling and was almost 48 years old. I knew nothing about the instructors, or even had a clear idea of what BJJ was. Now, I truly feel l... read more
