OKC Team Lovato MMA Undefeated At Bellator 174 Debut

Rafael Lovato Jr. - Monday, March 06, 2017

Lovato's School of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Mixed Martial Arts MMA Team's first challenge of the year has come to pass with this most recent weekend at Bellator 174, at the Winstar World Casino & Restort in Thackerville, OK. It was an incredible event in martial arts history with Professor Rafael Lovato Jr's victorious Bellator debut & new teammate Justin Wren's Bellator victory under the Lovato Banner. It seemed an alignment of fate as it would be both Professor Lovato Jr & Justin's fights got moved from the undercard onto the main card, televised on Spike TV nationwide. Both fighters would come to show their evolution as fighters & the growth made since the addition of Fight For The Forgotten's Justin Wren to the Lovato MMA Team. Professor Rafael Lovato Jr made quick work of his opponent in Wayman Carter, finishing the fight as the 6th fastest victory in Bellator History, TKO in 13 seconds! Showcasing his Evolucao Thai in action. Immediately following, Justin Wren locked in some devastating throws & demonstrated his newly sharpened grappling knowledge finishing his opponent, Roman Pizzolato by means of Arm Triangle!

We at Lovato's are extremely proud of their accomplishments & very well deserved victories. Without a doubt, we cannot wait for what lies ahead for these amazing representatives of our family!

Check out both matches in their entirety below!

TESTIMONIAL

On the recommendation of a friend, I started training at Lovato’s School of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu about 18 months ago. I had no experience in wrestling or grappling and was almost 48 years old. I knew nothing about the instructors, or even had a clear idea of what BJJ was. Now, I truly feel l... read more
