Our good news for the beginning of the year doesn't stop with the amazing results at the IBJJF Atlanta Open, but one of our Lovato Jiu Jitsu Association Black Belts Professor Zachary Adamson of Adamson Bros Jiu Jitsu Academy in Seaside, Oregon had a No Gi Super Fight in Edmond, Oklahoma at the Metro Invitational against a very game Brazilian jiu jitsu Black Belt, Samir Chantre. The match was incredible from beginning to end, Professor Zach showed incredible technique & composure pushing the fight to the very end. Both competitors were playing a very tight game to not allow the other to capitalize on too much which ultimately took the match into overtime where Professor Zach caught Samir in an explosive double leg takedown to gain the 2 points, as well as the victory! We at Lovato's School of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Mixed Martial Arts are so proud of all the dedication, focus, & relentlessness Professor Zach Adamson displayed on the mats at the Oklahoma Wresting Academy, always representing himself & Team Lovato at the highest levels of competition!

Congratulations on the victory Professor Zach, very well earned & deserved!

Starting my training at Lovatos was without a doubt one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. I was 22 years old, overweight, and pretty unhappy with myself and looking to change that. I always wanted to do martial arts since I was young, but never had the chance. I started at Lo... read more
