The IBJJF Dallas Spring Open was an amazing tournament that saw many of our Lovato Jiu Jitsu competitors. With a total of 25 competitors, we were able to bring home 22 medals including: 8 gold medals, 7 silver medals, & 7 bronze medals! Three of the eight gold medals came from our black belt representatives, Professor Jared Dopp with the Double Gold in the Adult Black Belt divisions, Professor Shiloh Roberts' Gold Medal in the Master 2 Middleweight division. A very huge shout out to Professor Brad Nico, of The Kompound, bringing his student as well as Professor Eddie Saenz & Vinny of Kingdom Jiu Jitsu with all of their students for coming together & representing for our association! We most certainly wouldn't have had the power in numbers as we did without their support. Congratulations to all our competitors who laid everything on the line & carried our flag into battle. We at Lovato's School of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Mixed Martial Arts are so very proud of everyone's sacrifice to give everything they had. We are so appreciative for all the Coaches, families, & teammates that came to support our warriors. Our presence as a team, as well as a family, was definitely felt in the arena!
