Team Lovato BJJ Competes At IBJJF Master World Championship

Rafael Lovato Jr. - Monday, August 28, 2017

Another incredible week has come to an end at the IBJJF Master World Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada. We had many competitors come together from all over the Lovato Jiu Jitsu Association to represent our martial arts family on one of the biggest stages for our sport. We at Lovato's School of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Mixed Martial Arts would first like to congratulate all of our Lovato Jiu Jitsu warriors who carried our flag onto the battlefield & sacrificed so much to be there. Win or lose there was tons of experience as well as knowledge to come back & better ourselves! There were tons of medals made, of those there were several won by students & Professors from our own academy. A very huge congratulations to Professor Rafael Lovato Jr who became the 2x Black Belt Master 1 Weight & Absolute World Champion, Professor Rafael Lovato Sr who suited up once again & took home a very well fought Bronze medal in his division, Purple Belt Michael Miller on his Bronze Medal, Patrick Munnerlyn on his Blue Belt Bronze Medal, & Sara Thomas on her Bronze Medal! We are so very proud of all the amazing jiu jitsu & heart that was displayed throughout the tournament.

So many outstanding memories & history were created, once again we would like to say that Lovato's School of BJJ & MMA are so very proud of all our warriors. We cannot wait to see everyone's growth & performance at next year's Master Worlds!
