What a phenomenal weekend Lovato's School of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Mixed Martial Arts has just undergone, this past Friday night Team Lovato MMA had three warriors on the Legacy Fighting Championship 62 card at Firelake Grand Arena in Shawnee, OK. Starting off the night was Lovato Jiu Jitsu blue belt Aaron McKenzie who had a very dominating performance in his fight where he was able to secure the victory at 3:03 into Round 2 via TKO from the back position, next up for the Co-Main event was Professor Justin Rader who had a very strong showing where he quickly went to work picking apart his opponent also securing his victory via TKO from the back position at 2:21 into Round 1! Finally, we ended the night with the Main Event of Legacy 62 where Professor Rafael Lovato Jr looked to defend his Legacy FC Middleweight belt against the very game Cortez Coleman. Professor Lovato Jr showed his evolution into the MMA world working his stand up game against Coleman during the first two rounds, but showed why he is the most deadly American grappler on the planet by taking Coleman to the ground at 4:04 into Round 3 where he was able to secure an amazing armbar submission to successfully defend his Middleweight title against the challenger!

Please join us in extending a huge congratulations to our team as they ended the night 3-0. We are above proud of the sacrifice, dedication, & warrior spirit that was displayed Friday night by all these warriors. We would also like to take the time to thank all of our students who came to support as well as those who were watching all around the world & sending these individuals so much love / positive energy. It was definitely felt throughout the entire venue!
