Travis Serna
Brown Belt | Judo Black Belt
Assistant Instructor
Travis Serna received his black belt in Judo under Mike Darter of OKCDT and Brian Picklo, US Olympic Judo alternate, in Oklahoma City, OK. During his time away from the academy, Travis is an Oklahoma City Swat Team member and is one of the lead Police Self -Defense Tactics instructors in the state of Oklahoma. However, Travis’ accomplishments do not end there, he also holds a bachelor degree in Criminal Justice and is certified in CPR and first responder training, as well as, police Paton instruction. Travis received his brown belt from Lovato’s in 2008 and has been an integral part of our competition team for several important tournaments. Travis is great at incorporating his Judo and Jiu-Jitsu together into a complete style.
